Deeply shocked by reports of a stabbing at a synagogue in Crumpsall, Manchester.

My thoughts are with the victims, their loved ones & the Jewish community at this frightening time.

Gratitude to the emergency services responding. We must stand united against such violence.

The β€œdiscovery” by Panorama of misogyny & racism in the Met is not hidden.

Sir Mark Rowley’s position is untenable.

Lady Brittan & I sought a meeting on Operation Midland, the culture of cover-up & homophobia, & prevalence of false allegations. He refused. Our little confidence in him is now none.

Michelle Mone’s position in the House of Lords is untenable.

After today’s High Court ruling that PPE Medpro must repay Β£122m for supplying gowns that were unusable & unsafe, she should resign or be expelled. She should also be stripped of her OBE. Public trust demands nothing less.

The Governments border deal with France will only succeed when 3 migrants enter & 1000 leave daily - for 5 years.

Ministers must also prepare for a Marine Le Pen government, which could scrap β€˜one in, one out’ & even push migrants across the Channel.

Britain must be ready.

My Letter to the Editor of @thetimes.com.

In East Wiltshire, Reform UK came 4th last election while 16,849 (35.7%) backed a Conservative Member of Parliament.

Danny Kruger should resign, re-stand for Reform, and let democracy take its course. The people of East Wiltshire must decide.

I have written to the House of Lords Commissioners for Standards calling for the expulsion of Peter Mandelson from the upper chamber.

Twice forced from Cabinet, tainted by Epstein links, lack of transparency & openness in public office - he undermines the integrity the Lords must uphold.

In Parliament on Wednesday, Keir Starmer said he had full confidence in Peter Mandelson.

He either didn’t know the truth about the full extent of Mandelson’s relationship with Jeffrey Epstein, or he lied to Parliament to cover it up.

Which ever it was, he should resign.

Peter Mandelson is unique in modern British history, having been forced out office for three different scandals across four different decades.

If he is unfit to be Secretary of State & Ambassador, then he is unfit to be a Member of the House of Lords & should be expelled.

Beyond appalling that the office of Sharon Hodgson MP was set on fire & vandalised.

Those in public office must be free to serve & campaign without fear.

There is a place to make your views known - at the ballot box!

Thank goodness no one was hurt.

Harvey Proctor: Violence cannot be allowed to shut down our democracy | Conservative Home Throughout my career, I have narrowly escaped direct assassination attempts including when the IRA blew up the breakfast room of a hotel in Belfast in which I stayed 24 hours after I was there.

The assassination of Charlie Kirk is shocking. My thoughts are with his loved ones.

Free speech only works if we engage views we fundamentally oppose with civility - the cornerstone of a free & democratic society.

Peter Mandelson has been sacked as British Ambassador to the US.

We must now know what Keir Starmer knew & when regarding the appointment & Mandelson’s links to Jeffrey Epstein & the extent of the relationship.

Ambassadors must command unimpeachable credibility.

Appalled by the Met’s arrest of Graham Linehan for a tweet from April.

There was a time when Orwell’s 1984 was satire. Today, it reads like prophecy.

Britain, once a beacon of free speech, edges ever closer to a dystopian police state.

Sir Mark Rowley’s grip on the Met is becoming untenable.

My @dailyexpressnews.bsky.social article outlines why Chris Bryant’s claims of being assaulted by 5 MPs - vague & timed for a book launch – risk smearing innocent men without evidence. We’ve been here before. This isn’t justice. It’s reckless, dangerous & deeply unfair.

Every party has its scandals – but if Rushanara Ali really evicted tenants just to hike the rent by Β£700 a month, it’s appalling.

She was Homelessness Minister. Any profit should go to a homelessness charity. Absurd hypocrisy. You couldn’t make it up.

For many years, people have urged me to rebuke @mrjamesob.bsky.social for his role in shamelessly supporting Carl Beech.

Until now, I have resisted, but I’m one of the few still alive to respond.

For those unable to view online, attached is my article in @telegraphnews.bsky.social today.

Happy Yorkshire Day!

A proud Yorkshireman, I spent my formative years in God's Own County.

I was born in Pontefract in 1947, briefly lived in Leeds, attended Scarborough High School for Boys, read history at University of York & was president of York Tories from 1967-1969

James O’Brien’s careless self-righteousness caused devastating damage to my life The LBC presenter continues to peddle moral certainty yet has never apologised for turning a laughable conspiracy into a national witch-hunt

For more than 10 years, many people have urged me to turn my attention to @mrjamesob.bsky.social to ensure he is held accountable for his shameful & credulous support of Carl Beech.

Until now, I have resisted, but I am one of the few still alive to respond.

It's 20 years since an innocent man was shot – no one has been held responsible Today marks two decades since Brazilian electrician Jean Charles de Menezes was shot dead after a bungled surveillance operation. We need police reform urgently

My article for @Daily_Express

20 years ago, Jean Charles de Menezes was killed by Met Police officers. He posed no threat & committed no crime.

Those responsible were promoted, honoured, enriched. That is not justice or accountability - it’s betrayal.

Those responsible were promoted, honoured, pensioned off.

In Britain, power protects its own. Failure is rewarded. Justice is denied.

That is not justice. That is betrayal.

In @thetimes.com on Tuesday, following TUI informing me that they will not allow me to use their services due to my 1987 conviction for gross indecency - a β€œcrime” no longer on the statute books.

Under β€˜Alan Turning Law’ I can apply to have it expunged.

13 committed suicide because of the Post Office scandal. Many more came close. The Horizon system was flawed & they knew it, & still they prosecuted.

Successive governments share the blame. Sir Keir Starmer must order proper redress now. Justice delayed is justice denied.

Chancellor Rachel Reeves looked visibly distressed at PMQs today.

Whatever your politics, it’s concerning. Few understand the pressure of leading in crisis, particularly at the top of government.

I hope she is okay. Politics is a brutal business - no place for schadenfreude.

By Police Scotland.

Automatic belief in people who claim they have been raped: police will β€˜respect you and believe you’.

Centuries of British justice overthrown in one sentence.

I have sympathy for genuine rape victims, but allegations must be tested. Complainants are not victims until proven.

Man who invented claims of paedophile ring to have jail term cut The serial liar (pictured) triggered an investigation in 2014 into allegations of child sexual abuse and murder involving politicians, generals and senior figures in the intelligence services.

I'd regret Carl Beech being released early. There must be some discretion, it shouldn't be automatic.

Those who take this decision should consider the extraordinary damage he did to a lot of people. The punishment must fit the crime.

Wrongly accused of child murder, he’s still seeking justice 10 years on After a police misconduct hearing was dropped, the former Tory MP Harvey Proctor fears no officer will pay for the lives wrecked by the VIP paedophile scandal β€” including his own

My interview with Laura Pullman of The Sunday Times, 10 years since Carl Beech’s lies upended my life.

β€˜I was falsely called a child killer. No police officer has ever been held to account’ - this is cover-up, cowardice & complicity by the Met Police & IOPC.
