Wrapped up the night by stopping by NOVAC's star party at the Udvar-Hazy center. Didn't stay too long since the turnout was high and I didn't really feel like waiting in the long lines.

On a lighter note, I also enjoyed the popculture section with a tribute to women in media. Star trek costumes of Georgiou and Burnham were prominent along with Felica Day's outfit from the Guild (haven't seen the guild, but have loved some of Felicia Day's other content).

Notably, they had Lincoln's top hat on display. It has obviously weathered over time, but it was honestly quite surreal to be looking at his actual hat and thinking about its presence during his assassination.

Wanted to head into DC today before the government shutdown closed everything down. Ended up at the Smithsonian National Museum of American History. It was a good opportunity for reflection and introspection. I really love this country and appreciate those who made it what it is today.

Very happy with my run today. It was a beautiful day; partially cloudy, ~68F. Slightly slower pace, but I met my goal of not stopping.

2 key factors:
1. Greater back activation, especially lower back with increased scapula retraction
2. Didn't run on a completely empty stomach

prob gonna start using this to document my thoughts over time, would be interesting to look back and see how i've changed or grown after awhile
