My children have invented a new game called Torch Mouse, in which they crawl around pretending to be mice whilst I chase them around using an electric torch like a laser pointer. It’s brilliant, no notes.

Did you know that lint can collect under your dryer’s lint trap? I did not. After removing a thick carpet of fuzz and a child’s sock from underneath it’s amazing how much more efficient the dryer is!

When my kiddo was a toddler she liked to make a break from the toilet screaming “RUN OUT NAKED!” Although thankfully mostly within our home.

Kind of like “ow tay uh row uh”, with a slightly rolled R and stress on the first syllable.

Such a Kiwi attitude! It was a bit of a culture shock when I moved here, the number of places that don’t make you pay for services ahead of time. Love living in a place that still, for the most part, has trust in the community.
