Yes, the #1 rule in ttrpg is "maximize player fun" but practically the number one rule to doing that is "make character actions matter" and that applies to all styles of ttrpg from story to gamist.

Might also be too generic to be useful, but ends up being relevant a lot to my game design.

Working on getting MisCon updates out - We did our Star Wars RPG event called Freebooters vs. The Shadow Syndicate where the players stopped an evil crime syndicate from taking over the underbelly of the galaxy. Twelve hours, 20+ players, four GMs, lots of explosions.

I loved watching Caitlin Clark in college, but don't in the pros because it seems like she is just always grumpy and upset and not enjoying herself on the court. I don't know why that should matter - she is there to win, but it makes her less fun to me.

I know I came on to bluesky to talk tabletop rpgs but I find that I mostly just follow live WNBA discourse now. Which is mostly blocking and muting. I have blocked way more people than I have actual posts on Bluesky.

I lost a friend over this when he accused me of abusing my children for letting them drink fluoridated water - and I defended my "choice" by researching that the exposure has to be much, much higher than anywhere in the US to have notable effect. Anyway, hope you are enjoying RFK, Tyler.

Looking at this again and noting that I got the same match as Elizabeth Hargrave (40%ish Jaime) but I had a 0% Elizabeth Hargrave. So I guess I will take the results with that mountain of salt.
