I’m not a health professional, just a neurotic half-marathon runner who went down a huge rabbit hole of research to make sure I didn’t get it. Tik toks from runners scared me. It’s super serious.

The level of over-exertion/dehydration you need to get to in order to develop this is extreme. Getting to that point while under the supervision of a professional sports team staff is pretty blatant malpractice on the team’s part.

There’s also the possibility of another team in the WNBA, one originally not intending to make a coaching change, now going in to try and get Brondello.

Brondello is a 2x WNBA champion coach (Phoenix, New York), former player, Olympic Coach, Olympian herself, and hits the international angle.

Her experience would make her an excellent cross-country ambassador for the Tempo as well.

It’s interesting.
