I will say one of the best parts of a stretch like this is that I get to come out of it with tangible work that exists. All the writing, reporting, etc just exists online and represents the work I put in. I LOVE that about my work.

Then there’s all my other work outside of the Raptors on top… it’s been an overwhelming week.

The WNBA (once again) will have more men as head coaches than women in 2026 The New York Liberty will reportedly Chris DeMarco as their head coach, meaning 8 of the WNBA’s 15 coaches are men.

In the WNBA's 30-year history (incl. 2026):

6 seasons have had an even men-to-women coaching ratio
11 seasons have had more women coaches
13 seasons have had more men coaches

This week's rankings saw Michigan enter the top 10 for the first time since 2022, while Notre Dame fell to No. 24 and Duke dropped out of the Top 25.
