It's a form of piracy: steal a job, take the savings to give a morsel to the poor, and then expect them to use it to pad the pockets of our richest citizens. It's bullshit.

I don't need to buy more shit (that I don't need) to stimulate the economy at the cost of fellow citizens suffering for no other reason than because the world's richest ass#$ole fancies himself intelligent.

Hot take: when you haphazardly dismiss people from their careers, throwing their financial security and their families security into chaos, floating the idea of taking that "savings" and giving it back to tax payers in the way of a stimulus check is disgraceful.
