The media business will still have superstar figures/some independence, but media will become in-house PR.

Foundations have already been set. Journalism isn't adversarial and often indistinct from aggregation slop. Athletes executive produce their own documentaries on Netflix. Fans won't object.

I'm not slamming SXM at all. They treated me well and I get why they made the decision.

But it's a sign of MMA's decline and the slow but inexorable devastation of the media business.
