The game picks up in the aftermath of the player group having defeated a long term antagonist and dealing with the attendant power vacuum but also the compromises they had to make to win.

UKLTA's Autumn #LARP is Cyberpunk: A Life on the Edge - Hearts and Minds.

Inspired by a variety of classic Cyberpunk media this has been running for a few years as part of our anthology events but now has a dedicated weekend.

Only in Death Does Duty End focuses on Inquisitors, their retinue, and Imperial Guard as characters. There will be no player Space Marine characters.

UKLTA's summer event this year is Only in Death Does Duty End - Selling Souls. This event is an unofficial fan #LARP set in the Warhammer 40K universe.

Selling Souls is a direct sequel to 2025's Searching Souls, which was very popular, and is set just a few weeks after that dramatic escape.

Saturday afternoon - Just Another Day In The GCPD

"Just before 9:00 on a bright, sunny morning in Gotham City. The city seems to be carefree and serene, doesn't it? But appearances can be deceiving."

A fan LARP set in the world of Batman '66 with all the players GCPD. Expect colourful villainy.

Saturday morning - Ashcombe Veil

"Some doors are kept shut for a reason."

Modern horror/supernatural fan LARP set in the universe of the Supernatural TV series. Players will be taking the roles of "British Men of Letters" and supporting specialists investigating bad things in a sleepy village.

Friday night - RISK

A light hearted tactical team skirmish game this year with players wearing small glowsticks and hunting each other down in the dark. Once taken down you join the capturing team.

There will likely be several round of this.

Lots of painted plastic parts laid out on newspaper on low benches. They are painted mostly black with some silver parts.

At "Something and Social" we stripped down the 7 Nerf LaserOps Pro that somebody donated to look into the feasibility of making them into loan sidearms to go with our loan PulseRangers.

We got them all stripped and mostly painted, and they're now a big box of painted parts awaiting a custom PCB.

It's our first event of 2026 this weekend. It's mostly a social where we're going to be fixing up kit, talking nonsense and watching a rubbish movie in the evenings. It's also an opportunity for those running games to talk about the coming year's events and serves as an informal committee meeting.

Our online store is now open again. You can buy membership for 2026 and tickets for our first couple of #LARP events. Both are socials/networking events, but the first may include some skirmish gaming and is free! As is membership if you're completely new to UKLTA.

We've been working with the GM the last few days to come up with some 'branding' for OD3E in 2026 that better matches the t-shirt design. This, or variants of it, is what we've settled on and we'll update the website over the next few days.

This particular trilogy of LARPs is broadly inspired by events in the movie Prometheus where human corruption and self-interest lead to conflict over which faction of Humanity will be at the forefront in dealing with Intelligent Extra-terrestrials (the 'Engineers') that might seem like Gods to us.
