Cults don’t govern, they intimidate, bully, and bedazzle their followers with bullshit. Successful cults take belief systems from other cults because it’s easier to repurpose and expand accepted (f)laws to lull the herd. Cults almost always fail, leaving brutal damage in their wake.

It’s so sad to live in a country where stupidity, criminality, pettiness, greed and thuggery are elevated to the level where they can ruin everything. Sacrifice for what? The age of the American Idiot is fully upon us!

Nature calms my restless mind, offering perspective and promise of renewal. Also, her indifference to human inanity reminds me how insignificant even the so-called powerful really are.

Also, cowards who encourage cruelty and pettiness in their leaders are as responsible for the outcome as the minions who take action. Never forget those who prop up this regime. They have earned your disgust.

Trump is like the anti-Gorbachev: instead of ushering in freedoms that got swallowed by the oligarchs he’s ushered in the oligarchs to swallow up our freedoms. In both cases the result is tumultuous.

Simply put, I’m not surprised at the capitulation of the Democrats in the wake of Trump’s assault on America. Despite painting him as a fascist danger to our nation for the past several years they still offer nothing to stand in his way and do nothing to inspire citizens to act. Now we all suffer.
