Dad got a new iPad and the sales person at the BestBuy went above and beyond.

He asked me today "do you think I could tip him a $20 or a gift card, or would he get in trouble?"

I told him I wasn't sure but if he could, make a trip back and try to tell a manager there how good that guy did.

It's been a little bit but, I'm happy to report that mom has her ducks text noise back, and she's so happy about the quacks

As someone who often did a night shift and therefore was asleep during the sunlit hours, when it comes to blackout curtains,

What I will say is that I'm forever grateful for my dad's oncology team, which keeps him up to speed and on track, even if the track keeps switching.

Especially those onco nurses.

And I picture it now like it's a constantly changing stew, with the ingredients completely in flux. And you're just hoping that this next batch of stew will be successful, and if you're lucky it is!

Until it isn't anymore, and you have to adjust again.

When I thought of cancer treatments, I assumed it was just "you do this one thing, this *one* treatment".

But no, it's often a bunch of them, rotating in and out, depending on how things are going with that patient.

I haven't posted much about the details of my dad's ongoing cancer treatment, as it felt like I was giving a play by play of someone else's hardship, and that didn't feel right.

But without giving details, prior to this, I didn't know how chaotic it can be, in terms of variety of treatments.

I keep reminding myself that it's good and healthy to take little breaks from the weight of the world at large, and my own smaller world

The person that I saw "The Spirit" with in theaters was so unhappy/frustrated with that film, I recall them throwing a quarter? (It was something small) at the screen before we left after the movie was over.

The audience for the latest Superman movie was great, lots of cheering and laughing.
