I’ll add that I prefer books my students don’t have to purchase, many of my students cannot afford a big textbook

In its current form, my class covers sampling distributions, linear regression, dichotomous predictors (t test), multiple regression, and we might get to multi categorical predictors by the end of the semester

One thing to reflect on today is the joy, happiness, and absurdity that people had in the midst of a large scale national protest. Yes, protests are performative (of course they are!) but communal expressions of joy and excitement sustain movements.

We cannot miss that important historical lesson.
