Allegedly Doom Modder ; "Zombies Ate My Neighbors TC", "Zombies TC: Re-Animated", and more unfinished or abandoned projects Full time (sadly) working at walmart The only constant is suffering
Yeah that should be a sourceport feature tbh
26.02.2026 02:24 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Also I bit the bullet and got a SSD, so I can try out Linux.
Who knows, maybe it'll be great, maybe it'll suck. But it's defintely worth trying, if for no other reason than to avoid CoPilot and Microsoft's "no offline" rules.
As a Linux Mint user this is exactly what I want ^^

25.02.2026 16:58 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0I have worked on making mods for GZDoom form quite some years now that's why I'm asking
I know there's "Screenblocks" as an indicator for hud display and I know there's a "Hud Scale" for SBARINFO/ZScript Huds
I don't know if both can be combined or if scale can be a keybind
A purple button badge on squidwards shirt that says "I'm not ignoring you I'm just really busy and if I don't use my few free hours for myself instead of responding to everyone I will straight up lose my sanity"

24.02.2026 21:10 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Glad to help ! ^^
Hope it works well this time if not the other person on the replies had another alternative more complex but maybe better if doesn't work still
Oh! That's sound like.it.might work! Try it now !
24.02.2026 04:56 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Sorry I wasn't paying attention before and not really an expert on the Linux
But the error says something about not updating the package because it can't confirm it's secure?
Can you uninstall Steam , update to Zena and then reinstall it again ?
If sounds risky use Timeshift before doing all that
Yes, the software manager installs either the .deb version or the .flatpack version depending on availability.
You could try to uninstall the version from the manager and try with the .deb
did you try using the app store version of Steam or just downloading the .deb from the Steam page ?
24.02.2026 04:17 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Linux Mint is a pretty solid option for starting using Linux, it takes most of the trouble of Linux away and the desktop is very friendly towards Windows users

Working on halving the resolution of all sprites in Megaman ZDoom. While I'm fine with the full-res sprites, animating them is very painful and literally halving the work is a good move lol
Also it's based off a GBA game with a low resolution so hehe
Ok

And the opposite of what Linux has been criticized for all these years ^^
So what a better starting point than that?
Well I'm stuck anyway with my refurbished mid-end PC I bought back in 2018 so that isn't a deal breaker for me

I've now properly implemented the Z-Saber, weapon select, charge attacks, wall jumping, and elemental chips!
