Fucked up double feature!!

It finally happened. I heard the WORST thing I've ever been told at a garage sale. "Oh, Yeah. Some roaches got in there. That was in a box in the basement, but we sprayed, so they should all be dead now." Y'all. This was a Hitchcock box set collection. It was PACKED with dead roaches and eggs.

Here lies Tess. She died doing what she loved: Meeting up with strangers from the internet to look over their DVD collection.

Orientations are all done and now I get a whole week of vacation!

Someday I'll submit assignments with more than 5 minutes left before their due date. That day is not today, though. Probably won't be tomorrow either.

Thrift (or at least thrifty) find of the week. I followed a Facebook ad from a stranger and met up in their creepy Warehouse without telling anyone beforehand and they had all these DVDs for cheap! I spent like 90 minutes going through cases of them and found some gems! Also no one murdered me. Yay!

...And then my next paper got the lowest grade I've ever had in grad school because I stupidly mistyped "qualitative" when I meant "quantitative" and got a paragraph of feedback about how that contradicted the rest of my paper that summarized a quantitative method. Dammit, Me! Pay attention!

A win!! Considering I had a bad brain week and ended up finishing this paper about 5 hours before it was due, I'm really freaking proud or myself. Of course, I've since reread my paper and realized it was full of typos that I'm worried about drawing attention to by correcting. But still! Yay me!

One week left of school and I only have 5 assignments left (6 if I decide to take on an extra credit assignment). I'm so tired. The finish line is in sight. Then I get almost 3 weeks before the Fall semester.
