Englewood Theater in Independence, MO - after decades of being closed - has permission to fundraise for renovations and open again! I'm so excited! This theater meant so much to me as a kid. It's where I first saw It Happened One Night. Indie theater is getting even stronger in KC Metro!

Your employer has every right to monitor your activity as a part of normal work operations as long as they are not pulling encrypted information without consent or notice. That's part of the ECPA and it's certainly not "tapping." Why do people who help make laws not understand laws?

#HorrorMovieChallenge2025 Number 3. The wheel chose "Criterion Collection" and "Silent Film." There are surprisingly few silent horror movies in the Criterion Collection and this is the only one I haven't already seen. I'm excited because it's the same director as The Unknown, which I really loved.
