I am excited, humbled and proud to share that Chey and I were recently honoured with the prestigious Prime Minister's Award for Teaching Excellence, where, along with 17 other educators from across the country, we were distinguished for our contributions to teaching and learning.

Promises Unfulfilled: Addressing the Special Education Crisis in Ontario For decades, ETFO has advocated for Ontario’s public education system to mandate and fully fund the supports and programs necessary to ensure a high-quality education that recognizes the diverse needs...

I just shared this ETFO document with my MPP today, after I ranted to her on the phone about how the #OntEd special education funding model needs to change before more children die or are seriously injured. Our kids deserve so kich better.

I run into many former students at the gym. I love catching up w/ them & hearing what they are now up to - 5, 10, even 15 yrs later.

My favourite question is always, “How do you remember me?”

Sometimes it’s tough to recall but when I do remember it brings them so much joy! 🥹

From the Eiffel Tower to the CN Tower-our classroom was transformed into a miniature world of architectural wonders! 🌍🏗️ Huge congrats to our Gr8 Girls STEAM Team for crushing their builds.

The final showcase was nothing short of spectacular! 🔥 #STEAMSuccess #FutureEngineers

Our Girls STEAM Team is busy working on their replica global monuments to get ready for STEM Night in a few weeks!

Rather than simply presenting their builds to families, they’ve developed STEM challenges to accompany their work in order to engage their visitors!

Bhagat Puran Singh was a Sikh humanitarian who dedicated his life to helping the sick and the homeless. His work teaches us that solidarity means taking care of those in need.
