Yes. The appliers work on all other horses except the Skeleton and the Mech. They need their own special skins.

Oh it's FREE!? Thank gods! I once heard you'd have to upload to SL as per normal for them, which is why I wasn't interested when I heard about it - named folders work just fine if I gotta pay for it all. 🤣

Social media or group. I personally REALLY dislike subscription systems bc 1) I get added to them without asking, 2) I don't know how to / don't have the option to *leave* them afterwards. Other options also let me check as I feel like rather than being forced.

Setting up an avatar for the first time CAN be difficult. The customer is going to have a harder time learning how to buy human skins and which bodies have the most clothes than the creator is uploading it and packaging it for sale on MP. But LL has a starter mesh avatar as a tutorial to that now!

Yes! I am one of many disabled folks who use Second Life as a way to experience the life I wish I could have if I were fully abled.

I am an avid SL Equestrian! I'm lucky enough to be able to volunteer with horses on weekends IRL and gain real experience, but SL lets me own my own + even show!

SL also has a Linden Lab run virtual marketplace - BUT it's optional. A lot of creators still run out of in-world only (or mostly in-world with minimal MP) since LL takes a 10% cut of MP sales. It's where the majority of my sales always came from, though.

In Second Life, setup for usable items in-game is on the Creator. Because the Creator sells you the in-game item, not the out-of-game source files that could be modified and uploaded anywhere.

I'm an SL Creator. VRChat setup scares me lol. BUT VRChat pays WAY better per file (as it should).

It's likely too close to the non-consent line for their code of conduct, which I find interesting when I've seen straight up non coming from patreon supported creators. Probably a case of keeping the content off Patreon itself (or no complaints).

Last day in Cuba today. Flying home at 10pm tonight, won't be touching down until like 1am or something. I've been fighting what I can only assume is like, minor food poisoning, so it's gonna be rough. Was sick twice this trip. I'll be glad to get home.

When we left Canada to fly to Cuba, I was kinda worried bc I'm a guy missing a part. But I only got my (completely empty) pocket tapped bc apparently the scanner thought it had something in it lol.

We'll see what happens when we fly home tonight.

Mainland code of conduct says you MUST stay within your land to build, even if you float your decor and use none of their LI. So you are in the wrong according to LL there.

As for blocking access due to number of avs in the region, you *might* have a case. But you will need to gather evidence.

I THINK it may have to do with reducing seams and ugly shadows on bodies and clothing on lower graphics settings?

But yeah, personally I only use it for making sure my flat painted skin textures look good or match up.

I! Feel that!! I used flat chest maitreya for a while years ago and suffered in the clothing department. I had to accept just making custom "flat" shapes in some cases, but they weren't great.

Similar situation now with reborn, or jake and wanting andro or fem stuff lol. I'm picky tho.

There's also barriers of "I'm not a good scripter or animator" and "I hate taking ad photos" and "learning new blender / avastar and chasing down devkits for a bunch of bodies is hard"

I'd like to make weird furry / monster parts but I am a one man show with a sleep disorder. 😭
