Should've clarified: last two PLACES TO LIVE ive rented out have had terrible soundproofing.

I haven't been able to practice drums in about a year and a half because the last two places ive rented out have shitty sound-proofing, and even my electronic kit is too loud for the housemates. Im super pissed about it. Using sticks on practice pads (while trying to be quiet) just isnt the same.

Oh fuck I wish I could've found u talking about this sooner because I struggled with this a ton.

I played the drums, and it was really hard for me to actually motivate myself to practice. When I lived in NYC I rented out studio booths with a kit in them for an hour so I'd have a reason to play -
