Today is FINALLY the last day of Summer.

This summer, specifically July, was fucking awful.

August 2025 pickups

4 days left of the summer, and the end of the summer has been not as hot as normal, and today, while still 90+ degrees, is not as humid as normal.

Definitely a preview of what is to come in the fall.

Today's heat index is 98, while yesterday was either 103 or 104, first less than 100 degree heat index in my area since at least May

Yesterday was only 84 degrees with up 99 to 100 degrees reelfeel.

Not great temperatures, but in comparison to a normal Summer day in Florida, it is a big improvement and I hope it's a early sign that the dangerously humid summer is FINALLY coming to a end, which is in 8 days from today.

Turok 2: Seeds of Evil Nintendo 64 cover. A game that Devinnytroy finally beaten after 21 years of playing this game

I have officially FINALLY beat this game after the fact I had been playing it since 2004, for 21 years. Let me tell you that game was hard as balls, but I finally beat it today

Less than 2 weeks remain, and exactly 2 weeks until Labor Day

Only 15 days remain of this fucking miserably humid summer... (I know the first weeks of September may get hot, but at least I'll get cooler temperatures during September)

Another reason not to move to Florida:

Bugs. They are everywhere in Florida. (Although Bugs are in all 50 states, Florida has the most out of any state in the US)

Did not post, but the temperatures ReelFeel on 7/29/25 spiked up to 120 degrees, with a heat index of 115 that day.

I still remember the August 2023 Heat Wave Fiasco. AUGUST 7TH, 2023 TO AUGUST 14TH, 2023 WITH 100+ DEGREES WITH 120+ DEGREES REELFEEL.

I did not experience less than 20 degree weather from February 2007 to December 2024.

Hot take: I miss the New York Cold. Florida fucking sucks in the summer

At least it's not nearly as hot as last week, though it is still really hot. I already said the hot take, but I will say it again:

Do not move South. Heat will be boiling in the summer.

I know it does get hot in all 50 states to some extent, but the southern states are the worst for heat.

Christmas is in only 147 days.

BTW, Tomorrow will be the first Day of August, hopefully the heat in August will at least not be as brutal as July 2025

DO NOT MOVE SOUTH (EX. FLORIDA) AS THE TEMPERATURES ARE TOO BOILING TO LIVE IN!

AT LEAST THE HEAT IN THE NORTH AREN'T SO BOILING HOT IN COMPARISON TO THE HEAT IN THE SOUTH!
