I’m currently planning to create a system, similar to a rating system, to seed Area Cup participants and place players in fair positions. If there are any references I could read, I’d appreciate your suggestions. The attached image shows what I’ve been trying out.

Almost half of the Race to Crown Seasons 25/26 is complete (#31 to #41, regular tournaments only — 11 out of 24). I’ve made this crown points progression graph. The top 20 are listed in order. I might have just proven that Lobster is an alien or something. Actual points in the thread.

Uzata has been consistently achieving with Dread, and Chiaki is among the best v96 players. The most intresting part was that three of them played without comms. Their coolerless run was impressive, though Lobster’s team placing second in qualifiers put them on the opposite side, easing their path.

Hi, here’s some information about them:
Roster: Uzata (vDread), Chiaki (v96), Negitoro-don (vRoller), Airisu (vBucket).
Uzata and Chiaki often participate in the area cup, but I’m not too sure about the other two since this was only their first or second time competing.

When you’ve caused so much hurt to a community, and your friends are trying to enable you to come back so you can help them win a tourney, then they are not actually your friend. They are someone who is using you for their benefit. A real friend would help you grow, away from the scene you damaged.

For those who are unaware Madness entered a tournament today, which surprised me personally given that the last I had heard about him 6 months ago he left the scene for val. I think coming back without any statement out of no where, and immediately entering a tournament, showcases a lack of thought toward the scene and harm to it. I'm aware he's made a statement since the tournament ended, but to me the damage has already been done here, and given the time that past, this lesson should have already been learned. It's disappointing to me personally. I don't want to come across as someone who is opposed to personal growth and change, if anything that's a value I hold very close and I want nothing more then these players to be able to grow, change, and be able contribute positively to the scene they have harmed. To me the way in which you come back and actions taken during the ban speak volumes.

I'm not great at statements for stuff like this, nor should my voice be the the main one for this discussion today, but I wanted to briefly speak on the tournament situation today.
If anything is unclear or needs clarification please let me know in the replies and I will try to clarify.

Seems like Todo won’t be competing in tomorrow’s AREA CUP for his 5th consecutive title. Pretty sad to hear, but Lobster will be going for his 4th, again. I’m really excited to see the tournament, and there will actually be a big announcement after (or during) the event. Be sure to check it out!
