I am happy to announce that this semester I am a visiting fellow at University of Tokyo!
For International Relations studies it is crucial to have expirience in different parts of the world.. in addition to the region you study.

Russian flag … really … not only MAGA is trying to make our military political (and send it against people) but now they are trying to associate our flag of freedom and democracy with Russian flag of genocide ?!?

In #Texas National Guard was pulled from the border to protests …. MAGA is not hiding their true priorities.

Screenshot of a list of the 27 specific grievances against King George III in the Declaration of Independence. Donald Trump's regime has committed at least 16 of them in whole or in part, highlighted in yellow and listed below:
"1. He has refused his Assent to Laws, the most wholesome and necessary for the public good.
2. He has refused to pass other Laws for the accommodation of large districts of people, unless those people would relinquish the right of Representation in the Legislature, a right inestimable to them and formidable to tyrants only.
3. He has endeavoured to prevent the population of these States; for that purpose obstructing the Laws for Naturalization of Foreigners; refusing to pass others to encourage their migrations hither [Partial]
4. He has obstructed the Administration of Justice, by refusing his Assent to Laws for establishing Judiciary powers.
5. He has erected a multitude of New Offices, and sent hither swarms of Officers to harrass our people, and eat out their substance.
6. He has kept among us, in times of peace, Standing Armies without the Consent of our legislatures.
7. He has affected to render the Military independent of and superior to the Civil power.
8. He has combined with others to subject us to a jurisdiction foreign to our constitution, and unacknowledged by our laws; giving his Assent to their Acts of pretended Legislation:
9. For cutting off our Trade with all parts of the world:
10. For imposing Taxes on us without our Consent:
11. For depriving us in many cases, of the benefits of Trial by Jury:
12. For transporting us beyond Seas to be tried for pretended offences:
13. [Partial], abolishing our most valuable Laws, and altering fundamentally the Forms of our Governments:
14. He has abdicated Government here, by declaring us out of his Protection and waging War against us.
15. [Partial], and destroyed the lives of our people.
16. He has excited domestic insurrections amongst us [Partial]"
The Declaration of Independence specifies 27 grievances with King George III and Britain.
Donald Trump has committed at least 16 of those same offenses.

LET THIS SINK IN: Kristi Noem wants FEMA gone—while the country burns.
Trump’s team stood in the White House and said with full chest: abolish emergency disaster relief.
Let it flood. Let it burn. Let it collapse.
This is not governance. It’s arson.

Those guys are migrants who receive all kinds of gov benefits (Medicaid, Medicare, SSI, food stamps ..like they are professionally looking for all benefits to get). Several did not work in US a day and one was even illegal at some point overstaying his tourist visa so that his kids are born in US.

I talked to my proTrump (ex) friends (West Coast) and they absolutely agree 🤦♀️ 1) protesters in LA are paid 2) Trump needs to deploy all the military we have so no other city thinks of protesting 3) we could suffer high prices and tariffs for the bigger goal 4) only Trump has a vision for America

Call to Activism - Joe Gallina
BREAKING: In a shocking moment of cognitive decline, Donald Trump blames Gavin Newsom for “causing a lot of death” during the protests in L.A. - but there have been absolutely zero deaths. Is Trump unfit to serve due to his obvious mental difficulties?

Trump’s deployment of troops to Los Angeles will cost $134 MILLION.
That’s enough to buy over 39 million meals for the hungry.
His military parade will cost $45 million, equivalent to another 13 million meals.
Trump’s fine if you go hungry, as long as he gets what he wants.

More protest footage from Texas, they are protesting peacefully. So, we know who is instigating the violence NOT the protesters! #texas #dallas #protests #arresttrump

As Brian Stelter notes, Elon Musk's Twitter platform has been completely inundated with fake information concerning the events in Los Angeles, including obviously fake or staged footage, footage taken from other places around the world, and from many days ago rather than current.

Those anti drone missiles were already assigned to Ukraine and were supposed to go there .. but now they are not going.
Democrats could do nothing now in US even to protect people in US (they are political minority everywhere)

What a coincident ….Elon Musk’s father is in #Moscow and #Trump just said that US is taking back 20,000 anti drone (defence!) weapons from #Ukraine… just days after amazing #Ukraine operation when Russia lost majority of its planes and Iranian drones are all they have now to keep killing civilians.

The most important thing during #protests is it being peaceful and disciplined. The more peaceful the better. US flags, music, colors, flowers 🌺 (why not give a flower or two to National Guard soldiers who also do not want to be there to start with). That is what Trump is most afraid of..

Trump Is Using the National Guard as Bait
Don’t give him the pretext he wants.
This is such an important article. The key to effective civil resistance is taking action that erodes pillars of support for the authoritarian and builds support for the movement. Staying calm, SoCal, will serve the resistance best.

But I guess it is not a problem and we could totally trust #Russia…

I am really impressed by China efficiency. Just Days after Trump tariffs were imposed, in one Easter European country China started negotiations about investing in several businesses (factories). And those negotiations are now moving unbelievably fast.
