This is just some of the feedback from parents who children benefit from the holistic learning programme at Bristol Royal Hospital for Children 🧡

A team of cyclists from the Tondu Wheelers cycled 70 miles to the BHI and raised £3,000😍

They were saying thank you after one of their members had treatment at the BHI.

Over the last 12 days, Ceri has been hiking a whopping 200km around the Anglesey Coast Path to raise money in memory of one of her twins Nanw 🧡

So far she’s raised more than £4,000 for our hospitals. And she’s on the home straight today – YOU CAN DO IT CERI! 💪

Our Charity Practice helped @bwhc.bsky.social find Trustees and a Chair of the Board.

They required skilled professionals with expertise in multiple areas, to strengthen the Board on different fronts.

Every year, around 1,800 people die in our hospitals.

We want to fund an End of Life Care Volunteer Programme that will help patients get the comfort they deserve in their final days.

We know accessing healthcare isn’t as equal or easy for some people. Over the next five years, we’re planning to invest £1.5m in projects to ensure everyone has the best hospital experience for their needs.
That includes all our LGBT+ community in the South West. We stand with you this Pride Month 🏳️‍🌈

What a day for our Big Bristol Walk! We were joined by 156 people for our walk around the harbourside, raising money for your hospitals. Thank you to our full-hearted community who joined us.

It was so great to see Bristol Harbourside turn yellow yet again!

Last month motorcyclist Laura was joined by fellow bikers to raise money for our hospitals.

Laura was saying thank you for the care of her partner Luke, who was diagnosed with bone cancer last year.

Bikers donated to join the ride and raised £1,300. Thank you to Laura, Luke and everyone involved 🧡

Thanks to your donations, a research team from UHBW is currently on a mission to change the future of prostate cancer diagnosis.

The aim is to enable prostate cancer diagnosis through a urine sample, rather than the current blood test. They’ve tested more than 200 urine samples so far 🤯
