One of my unexpected favourite things about going solo is that I'm writing way more plain CSS: no more bloated MUI or Quasar, just neat and simple components. Shoelace is neat. Open Props is delightful. Might also give Pico CSS a go?

Spent a big chunk of my day trying to figure out what the hell `exited with code 132: illegal instruction` meant. It turns out `pnpm upgrade -r rollup@latest` did the job, but yeeeesh. Sometimes JavaScript rocks, and sometimes it sucks.

Final tally for the day is 8284. Pretty chuffed with getting ~3000 articles done in an afternoon. Maybe I could RSS inbox zero by the end of September?
