Morning all. It's a misty old morning here in France, but the sun is shining, the birds are chirping and there's a definite feeling of spring in the air. Better days ahead,we hope.

Donald Trump returning to the White House will be deeply worrying for millions of people in the UK and around the world. With a President who promises trade wars, undermines NATO and praises Vladimir Putin, the threats to our national security and our economy are clear.

Just cannot bear to see the Inauguration and
adulation of this heinous criminal who has no respect for the Office he holds,so spending the afternoon cleaning the kitchen and reorganising my herbs,spices,vinegars and oils.

Had a lovely few days with a flying visit from our daughter. Walks in the frosty sunshine, out for lunch, coffee in the port and lots of chat about her wedding plans. Love family time with the wee girl. ❤️

Hello all! Late check in today as I had to go to see the GP this morning (nothing serious). Morning cheered up considerably by the smell of freshly baked bread in the local bakery and a good cup of black coffee. Hope you're all having a great day and enjoying small pleasures.

Vibrant flowers growing in the garden yesterday. The sunshine is making them spring into life.

I LOVE spring! And the Merlin app. Out in the garden tidying up and these are the birds singing in the garden in the last 10 minutes. Nature's symphony ❤️

So sorry Johnny. It's heartbreaking when they leave us. Dogs are too good for this world, far better than most people. She lived her best life, romping through the woods with you. A life full of love and a life well lived. Go well muddy four-paws.

Soring:The winter's gloom has lifted. The sun is shining,it's 17'. The birds are singing & feasting on nuts & seeds. Liam's planting bulbs,we are drinking good coffee & there's a curious,fat bumblebee investigating every bit of my left sleeve.
This morning feels like an awakening after slumbers.

We go very often on a Saturday. We live just outside Bergerac near Prigonrieux so it's easy to get to Sainte-Foy. I love the veggies and flowers. There are stalls selling spices now too so I go to stock up.

Well! Wonka was simply wonderful! A joyful film.Stellar cast. Hugh Grant is brilliant.Made by the same team as the Paddington films & it shows.You might come out of the film wondering if you've taken a creative amount of drugs,but let go and just enjoy the magic.
