curious: do you do the same thing when ur feelings are not easily expressable thru words? i have this "all my feelings are scattered thru the living room" problem which makes me a bit hesitant to pick up something as word-heavy and precise as journaling

when i was a kid, my dad and i went to a local fair together and talked to a blacksmith for an hour. guy gave me a notebook and said something along the lines of "remember to write things down. one day you'll come back here and I'll remember you when i see this notebook."
