If I had more time I would spend time hashing this out: Women's sports figures speak up bravely on issues because they know that a portion of the population hates them.
Men's teams think they can appeal to everyone so they're afraid to offend anyone.
Women's teams inherently know this is false.

Why is ICE being allowed to keep these people's possessions once they are released? What justification is being given for keeping their belongings? What process exists for people to retrieve their belongings? What process is ICE following to document ownership of these belongings?

Think of all the universities and law firms that caved to Trump and failed to have the courage to push back, as Minnesota is.

Yeah and one year later, after knowing that Paul Allen defends ICE, I don't think I will be able to stomach hearing his voice ever again. I'm serious.

Also, may I say that I don’t agree with people saying ICE and CBP need “more training.” They’re doing exactly what this administration has trained them to—impose a reign of fear in blue cities. They don’t need more training. They need to be ripped up root and branch.

One thing that irks me: people keep calling the folks on the streets in Minneapolis protestors. They are not generally there to protest, they are there to observe and document. This is the product of organizing and mutual aid. It is telling that these acts of citizenship are seen as protest!

It’s because she doesn’t believe in anything and doesn’t appear to have the social skills to connect with people on any kind of human level. So she’s very scripted.

Why the fuck does the National Guard have to protect the Whipple building? Open the doors, tear off the roof, show us the horror within. But protect it? Protect who?
