GreenStalk update - onions and fennel planted and doing well - watering easy and so long as the garlic is not huge, you can put two of them in one planter sleeve- love the watering system and ability to turn it to give sun to each section as needed

Just got a subscription for same reason as Jess

We looked at that as well - seems like a nice vehicle but we need a sedan first as our current one is nearing the end of useful life

Was like a weird silver spotlight last night- clear skies and lots of stars and so bright it made shadows

🌱 GreenStalk update - transplanted onions and fennel growing & planted garlic starting to sprout - watering system works well - really recommend spinner to deal with low winter sun/too much rain - got it in black to match other pots (is on back patio so will add pollinator flowers in spring)

I miss being there after a night out at a nice restaurant, taking a cab back to BART when downtown has emptied out, the street lights are the only lights still on & your still smiling at the good food, wine & company

They should feel grateful they don’t have to carry pepper spray to walk alone at night or do active shooter drills instead of studying elementary school math or fear being pushed in front of a subway train bc they might cause ‘China flu’ - like so many of us common people

At holiday event of women’s org I joined in new little town we’re in, I was asked “what do vegetarians eat?”, “what do you mean you don’t celebrate Christmas?” and other lovely questions by people who have never apparently talked to anyone not exactly like them - what a place I have landed in!

We’re looking at Lucid, we’re from the Bay Area originally and have known for a long time that Elon is off his rocker, not a good sign for keeping so many companies afloat at once, let alone being co-president

We just moved to a conservative area with lots of “welcome” garden flags and trump signs still in yards & library closures - so I bought my own garden flags inc “read banned books”& “when in doubt, go to the library” - next flags will be ‘we r all immigrants”, BLM & other ideas new to these folks

Update- Omg - we’re having warm afternoon weather (after cold mornings that have included frost! ) and I have *another* variety still blooming and giving not so awesome tasting strawberries!! These plants are crazy!!! They will be tapped out by spring!! What can I do to make them stop?!

I love her!! Sabella was the first I read and still a fav - her short story collections are great too - try Beauty and Tamastara (interesting take on Bollywood)- if I won the lottery, I would get a hard copy of everything she wrote as well as CJ Cherryh

We were in same boat and watched many YouTube videos to be sure she could do all the songs for real but she seems to be legit - no one will ever be Chester but it’s nice to hear the band again - still need some reassurance on the Danny Masterson thing though - thoughts?

Bizarrely my extended family skipped family friendly or holiday films and watched All the President’s Men (after they ran out of football)

Our dogs love thanksgiving bc they get Turkey bits in their food for weeks bc we freeze ours too
