Some more details:
These are worked flat, including the thumb. There are tutorial videos for the stitches and techniques but they have no commentary and are subtitled in Russian.
But I was able to figure it out in the end and I love them so much.

The chart on the top right shows the status of the items. It shows 5 items for my store, three gifts, two commissions, and one sample. The chart on the bottom shows how many items I've finished each month of the year. It shows 11 items finished for the month of January so far.
I created a tracker to track my finished items (I also have a template I can share if people want it to use), and here is where things stand for the first week and a half of the new year.
It's wild to see how fast I am making things.
