How could I not comment on Valentine's Day, on mass surveillance, and on resistance with the prompt "pilgrimage"?

It took me a while to break away from 5-7-5, but I think my haikus are better for it. I spent a lot of time forcing syllable counts!

Sleep well! It can be hard to stop counting syllables, but also liberating.
