Introducing our team of annotators at the Global Ecology Lab.
Their work transforming raw satellite data into structured, high-quality datasets is critical to our efforts to map global distributions of ecosystems and related research. Keep updated on their progress and the labβs latest here! π¦€π§ͺπ

π°οΈ The satellite image^ of the Lena River delta in the Arctic Circle was uncovered by a GEL analyst during annotation of our training set. The delta is a frozen tundra for many months, seasonally transforming into fertile wetland when the active layer of permafrost melts. 72.51387, 126.80948.
