Since we've decided as a country not to support PBS anymore, I do want to make a plug for PBS Passport the online streaming version of PBS. It's $5 a month and we've had it for 8 years now. Nova, Frontline, nature, Ken Burns, local shows, old house, masterpiece, and more are faves in this household.

A cottonmouth decided to take residence under my front door step. I like snakes, certainly more than rodents, but coming across it multiple times within a couple days I had to relocate it. It hissed at me but all is well now.

Yesterday, sadly, my NWS career came to an end. I started as a volunteer in '97 at Corpus Christi, my hometown, but worked most of it in Fort Worth. It was a great career and treated me better than I deserved. So fortunate to live out my childhood dream, but now it's time for the next chapter.
