26.08.2025 17:53 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Literally had the thought today that the best new AG we could hope for in Missouri would probably be Catherine Hanaway. Granted, improving on Andrew Bailey is a VERY low bar, but Hanaway is an uncharacteristically normal Republican, so while I wonβt always agree with her, Iβm cautiously optimistic.

1. We send enemies to brutal foreign labor camps.

25.03.2025 22:44 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0By this reasoning, the instant someone is accused of murder, we can do what we want to them because the murder victim didn't have due process. Or if someone is accused of theft, because the victim didn't get due process.
This is beyond just wrong. It's evil.
I hope people realize that Trump is trying to make it illegal to criticize his regime.
They are trying to give themselves the ability to spy on, target, and arrest anyone who criticizes them. They want to end freedom of speech in America.
Letβs be clear about what theyβre doing.
In fact, a White House official said on Friday that despite the deal reached with Paul Weiss, Mr. Trump would continue to target law firms with executive orders, including some the president could sign as early as next week. In the Oval Office on Friday, Mr. Trump asserted that law firms "did bad things" and had attacked him "ruthlessly, violently, illegally." But now, he said, they "want to make deals."
Do you get it yet, law firms?
Whatβs happening isnβt an isolated threat to Paul Weiss or Covington or Perkins Coie.
Itβs an existential threat to the independence of the legal profession.
Youβre a fool if you think you wonβt be next.
Say something. Do something.

- After we deport you, we can make you rot in a foreign prison. No criminal charges needed.
