This is very true. Everything you want to learn about any art or craft is freely available on YouTube. The problem is, you then have to do the work, which is the sticking point for many.

delighted that the hbomberguy video has broken containment. half of my handicrafts club watched it, the other half want to watch it after getting the tl;dr over 2h of knitting and cake.

i logged into my now-defunct twitter account earlier for the first time in like 2 months & the first thing i saw was an autoplay video of something that wouldn't fly outside of some seriously messed-up forums/subreddits. so, uh. here i am, finally.
