One thing I've noticed with the constant emergence of flashy new tools...you get that spark of 'oh if I just paused here to switch everything to [new thing] I'll come out ahead long term.'

Then 'long term' ends up being a few days and a new shiny thing emerges.

That's basically what I have in Pycharm -- Notebook mode w ipynb, and Gemini on standby with your whole project in context. I'm not ready to trust the agents, so the integrated code assistant seems like the right setup for now.

Project it out a few cycles...we are all hooked, prices do a 100x, the incumbents now have your codebase in their corpus...enjoy the good times.
