why does the gif search in discord (tenor?) suddenly suck absolute ass and give literally 0 relevant results for anything i type in? this is why i have all my favorites saved offline, but good god where did they all GO??

The marginalia index isn't perfect but it's great for some things (recipes in particular) and prioritizes text-based websites.

Note that Bing blocking neocities and all user subdomains means it affects any search engines using Bing, for example, DuckDuckGo.

Since making the switch to Waterfox from Firefox I've been using StartPage and has been nice so far! You can check out other quotes & comments for other recommendations

Be careful with open flame, but if anyone in the storm doesn't have a gas/camp/etc stove and the power goes out, you CAN use candles. You can even boil water (or clean snow) in a pinch if need be. Be safe, everyone.
