Claire, Nick and Simon, our Streatham Common and Vale council candidates out canvassing earlier today.

This May, vote Lib Dem in Streatham Common and Vale.

Time to show Lambeth Labour that it is time for a change.

With reduced productivity, investment, and trade, the impacts of leaving the European Union is still being felt a decade later. As today marks 10 years since the date of the referendum was confirmed, it reminds us of the importance of repairing our relationship with Europe.

Excellent Ed Davey visit to the North West. Talking to SEND parents while I β€˜guarded’ the cake followed by some canvassing of course.

End a very long week of travelling and work for me. First night without meetings tonight and I intend to do absolutely nothing.

If the South London Press still existed then "Ex Stockwell Labour councillor resigns on Epstein links" would have been a perfect way for a local newspaper to describe the Mandelson story.

Scottish Liberal Democrats get things done.

The more MSPs we have, the more we can get done.

Because Scotland deserves better. And with the Scottish Liberal Democrats, wherever you are, you can vote for it on your second peach ballot.

No parent wants to see their child’s education suffer while private equity firms cash in on a broken system.

Liberal Democrats would introduce new protections to ensure taxpayers’ money is spent on frontline services for children, not lining the pockets of offshore investors.

This really is an astonishing story, and I hope that any MP found to have been involved is held to account.

It’s straight from the Kremlin’s playbook ironically, and has no place in our politics.

Lib Dems set out plans to stop SEND services being 'cash cows' Council spending on Special Educational Needs and Disabilities has soared in recent years.

It’s scandalous that our most vulnerable children are being treated like cash cows by offshore investors.

Private SEND providers are raking in obscene profits & draining council budgets while families struggle.

We @libdems.org.uk would protect taxpayers’ money & put children first - not profits.

We are the United Kingdom.

This week I have written to the Home Secretary to remind her, that when we make a deal with somebody, we keep it.

The government must not retrospectively change the terms of agreements it has already made, over Indefinite Leave to Remain.

February is LGBT+ History Month, a chance to celebrate the contribution of LGBT+ people to our society and reflect on how far we’ve come.

Progress happens when people speak up, support one another, and choose inclusion. πŸ³οΈβ€πŸŒˆ

This week, @timfarron.bsky.social, @victoria-collins.bsky.social & I travelled to Israel and Palestine to listen, learn and ask questions of a range of people. We had robust discussions about aid access, tackling corruption, settlement expansion, overcoming terrorism, and delivering accountability.

Lib Dems aim to 'deprive' SNP of majority with 10 target seats and reclaim Highlands The Lib Dems believe they can deny the SNP a Holyrood majority that John Swinney insists will spark another independence referendum.

Excl: Scottish Lib Dems leader @alex.scotlibdems.org.uk believes his party can help "deprive" the SNP of a Holyrood majority as they set their sites on 10 constituencies in May's election, including six in the Highlands.

Labour’s plan to turn down Lambeth’s streetlights Rebuttel of Lambeth Labour's attempts to pretend they didn't propose to dim street light to save money.

Recently Labour have planned to turn down Lambeth’s streetlights - despite local opposition. Labour are now claiming that it isn’t true - despite the proof being obvious in Lambeth council documents.

Read our response below

'The Government promised to fix the NHS - so why hasn't St Helier been repaired?' Sutton and Cheam MP Luke Taylor criticises Government delays on NHS, repairs to St Helier Hospital, social care reforms and hospice funding.

In my latest column for the Local Guardian, I've outlined just how badly the Government is getting it wrong over St Helier.

Their dithering and delays are letting down patients and the hardworking heroes among the staff and management.

Under the SNP, three quarters of newly qualified teachers can’t get the full-time permanent contracts they need to pay the bills, or get a mortgage.

It’s absolutely brutal.

Many are being forced to work abroad, when they want to teach here, it’s a brain drain.

Great to see Ed Davey in Sussex making the case for real change.

For too long, West Sussex County Council has been mismanaged by the Conservatives. We have a fantastic team of Lib Dem candidates ready to better deliver for residents.

Up and down the country, GP surgeries are closing, leaving patients helpless and without the care they need - it’s a disgrace.

The government must deliver our plans for a GP rescue package to ensure everyone can see their GP when they need.

It looks as if the government might have finally listened to Lib Dem calls for a profit cap on SEND providers.

For too long the SEND private market has been a rigged racket. Hopefully this change will mark the end of our vulnerable children being treated like cash cows.
