This morning I joined @pcsunion.bsky.social members outside the British Library, on strike over a real-terms pay cut.

Our national institutions are nothing without the staff who keep them running. Solidarity!

It’s a shame that an inaccurate statement has been leaked to a former Sun journalist. The MOU directors were already in the process of transferring ownership and all of the resources of MOU, and that legal process is now nearing completion. I am taking on the role of director of MOU to see this through and ensure we’re ready for the conference at the end of November. The movement owes Jamie Driscoll, Beth Winter and Andrew Feinstein a debt of gratitude for their integrity, professionalism and hard work. They’ve been patient, constructive and consistently sought to resolve matters diplomatically. Thank you for your patience — this brings the chapter to a close and these resources will now be used for Your Party, as was always intended.

Today I voted against Nigel Farage's bill to pull the UK out of the European Convention of Human Rights. Labour cowardly abstained. From the Hillsborough families to the victims of John Worboys — the ECHR protects ordinary people from torture, discrimination and abuse of power. Reform want to rip it up.

When Labour MPs posted their choreographed "I'm off to London to save steel" messages, didn't they realise it would antagonise everyone who knows their party backstabbed Corbyn when he was campaigning to save it a decade ago?

Labour thinks it is in the 'national interest' to save steel, but it isn't when it comes to Port Talbot or Grangemouth.

Define national interest, Mr Starmer.

Labour is not 'turning left' with a commitment to public ownership.

Business Secretary Jonathan Reynolds says a new private owner is his preference, but nationalisation is 'likely.'

Democratic public ownership should be the first option.

Nigel 'my only principle is my own advancement' Farage opposed steel nationalisation only two years ago.

When it gets him a few votes, the Riot Boy is for turning.
