Sketch of a busy noodle shop on the street. Commonly found in residential city neighbourhoods, a drinks box on the right, and the main kitchen is a wagon on the left with instant packet noodles, a fryer and two propane tanks. Two large umbrellas provide shade and protection from rain. Perch is standing behind the drinks bar as guest are served their meals inside the building.

A corner shop in the deli section of Queen Victoria Market, Melbourne. They serve hot foods there. It seems to have been closed for cleaning as a dragon adorned with deli olives and cheese pokes their head out to inform customers.

A Japanese Bakery in a not so hidden alleyway in Melbourne. It's pretty easy to spot since there will normally be a line of people reaching all the way to the street. They produce a wide variety of pastries displayed in cuboid display cases right by the entrance.

It is pretty narrow too in quite a busy centre. Pretty sure if it were replaced they consider wider escalators.

Honestly, the best way to make an artist’s day is by being very specific about what you like about a piece. Geek out a lil. Gush over how they use line, color, texture. Every mark is layed down by the artist, so if you can connect with those little moments, it helps the artist feel seen.

Xiao Long Bao anyone? Rich pork and ginger broth steamed in a thinly rolled bun. Watch out as it is served scalding hot on the inside. Best dipped in a rice vinegar with crisp ginger.

A market scene: this was taken from a google street view of a corner in Phnom Penh's Toul Tom Pong market. It's dingy, wet, very loud, but bustling with grocery and general goods, and amenities. A corner shop sells meat sandwiches, fresh smoothies and Char Kway fries in the background.

A horse eats: while in a group chat Oguri Cap was mentioned. His reputation as a big eater was pretty funny. Now retired at a farm, I'd imagine he'd be eating quite well, in this case an entire half watermelon to eat. Also on this page are fluffy Tempura dipped in saucd, and Samyangtang, a ginseng chicken soup perfect for winters.

My go to is the cold Zaru Udon that comes with the stock separately. You can add the spring onion, radish and ginger into the stock, and pour the stock over their soft boiled eggs.

I get to the shop at opening time so the eggs are at their freshest.
