FWIW, Finland has been progressive in many ways for many years. They even eliminated homelessness. But a recent election voted in a change in govt -- guess what? All progressive policies & programs got cancelled and homelessness is again on the rise. This shift to the political right is everywhere.

I wear mens jeans -- GWG mostly. I'm a sz 8, slightly loose bc I have IBS so I hate anything tight around my middle. Cobverts to 30" waist in mens. Sometimes I have to stitch a stretchy chunk of elastic in back of the waistband [like kids jeans] to pull in the waist while allowing for the hips.
