Long Beach looking to accelerate city’s transition to zero-emission trash trucks City staffers will explore strategies to accelerate Long Beach’s transition to zero-emission vehicles for private and city-operated trash trucks.

There's still good stuff happening at the local level! Earlier this week, the Long Beach City Council voted unanimously to electrify its garbage trucks. This is a big step forward and will help clean up the area's dangerously poor air quality.

PG&E Wants to Pull the Plug on Electrification Project at CSU Monterey Bay | KQED PG&E proposed a novel approach to electrify existing buildings at CSU Monterey Bay. Now the promising project is in jeopardy.
