Should be used as an incentive to improve fan behaviour by approving sale of alcohol in grounds and when fans step out of line, license is revoked for a period of time. It's just doesn't make any sense for a blanket ban across the country.

I generally don't mind people sharing their opinions and confirming they're ignorant egomaniacs. Until few weeks ago, Musk was just another rich man whose mask had slipped.

That changed when he became defacto member of Trump's government. Lurch to right is coming to the UK if we're not careful.

We must be waiting for players to get their leg snapped before deciding that's an outrageously dangerous tackle.

Oooffttt. I presume a red card too? That's outrageous.

Started slow but came right back into it. Scrappy game. Look dangerous with ball in hand and running at Wallabies.

An incredible fall from grace. Genuinely loved what he doing in tech - SpaceX, Tesla, Boring, etc - but the mask has truly slipped ever since he started flirting with politics. He's everything he said Twitter wasn't and now X has been modelled in his image, and it is brutal. A right-wing egomaniac.

‡️ Polish journalist agreeing with my complaints about this sham of a World Cup draw

πŸ“‰ Poland were relegated to League B by Scotland. What's part of the reward/punishment for this?

πŸ‡΅πŸ‡± Poland = rewarded.
In a 5 team WCQ group & therefore, a 100% chance they will NOT face any of the best 4 Pot 1 sides

It's the optimism that kills us Kenny. But yes, playoff place should target.

21.11.2024 12:40 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

Totally agree. Ferguson hopefully back too. Souttar I think has been excellent. Tierney? Definitely hopeful. My bigger fear is Clarke reverting to type a little. It's unlikely we'll qualify anyway but I'd rather have a go at qualifying by attacking teams and setting a new precedent.

21.11.2024 12:33 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

Totally agree Kenny.

Before that though, pot 3 means a return to awkward ties against teams around us in rankings. A useful acid test of whether this squad and our tactics really have improved over last couple of years.

Raising our floor is what will get us to more major tournaments.

Excellent half from Scotland. Gilmour outstanding. McGinn/McTominay/Doak all a constant threat.

I've given Clarke a lot of shit since Germany but he'll get more time from me if he can find it within himself to set the team up like this consistently, not only when he has to.

Very few grumblings here. Would love to see Souttar and Doak double down with successive strong performances.

Big night for Clarke too who needs to show he's learned from very passive games in Euros.

Hadn't but have now. Very good.πŸ‘Œ

Smith and Burrows seems to have passed me by. That's this morning's music sorted!

Every Sunday let’s share an album you have a special musical relationship with.

An album that takes you back.

An album you think everyone should listen too.

Here’s mine:

Can't have the young lad getting ideas above his station and thinking he could put in successive MOTM performances.

Back to the bench he goes to think about how he'll thank Stevie for keeping him grounded and aware of his limitations.

100%. I didn't leave X because of right-wing politics but because I was being served Elon's politics specifically and the algorithm became hugely weighted in it's favour. That, and adverts, bots, etc. The platform is now a complete binfire.

a man with a mustache is sitting on a swing in a park Alt: Images of golf twitter waiting on shotgunstart team moving to BlueSky

And @djpie.nolayingup.com but looks like the accounts might be stale from last year.

Just waiting on @friedeggandy.bsky.social getting rest of ShotGunStart team over here and Twitter is pretty much dead to me...

Thanks for this Garrett. Golf Twitter was my main reason for resisting deactivation of my Twitter account, but that platform is pretty much a binfire at this stage. Glad to see signs that many are migrating. Not yet at critical mass but writing is on the wall. πŸ‘

Good stuff Bill. Hope to see more Pars fans make the leap. πŸ’ͺ

16.11.2024 09:12 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

Sure. But my assumption was that BlueSky would only hyperlink handles that had been configured to an external domain.

16.11.2024 08:27 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

Has to be directly integrated into the user handle/DNS feature though, otherwise scammers will just add a URL to their profile to make them look legitimate.

If BlueSky continues to trend as it is currently, the whole verification process going to come under a lot of scrutiny.

16.11.2024 08:05 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 2    πŸ“Œ 0

Would be nice if external domains were clickable in the profile as a quick verification step for the user. A visual scan alone probably isn't sufficient once this place scales and the bots/scammers arrive.

16.11.2024 06:55 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 3    πŸ“Œ 0

Doak excellent. Gilmour too. Thought Soutar had a really good game at the back. McGinn and Gauld helped make difference in second half. Still some issues in that squad but that's for another day. πŸ’ͺ

Outside of his boot must be worth Β£50m alone. Effortless.

15.11.2024 21:28 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

I think he's been better this campaign, but in an attacking position. If McTominay hadn't become a goal machine I'd probably have him sitting deeper and see what more Gauld had to offer. We've fucked it with Gauld though and left it too late to start blooding him at this level.

15.11.2024 20:49 β€” πŸ‘ 2    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

Agreed. McGregor retiring was a huge disappointment. Lovely player.

15.11.2024 20:43 β€” πŸ‘ 2    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

Totally agree. As you've said, centre halves need him to come deep for ball, and his choices once he has it are limited. Always receiving the ball under huge pressure. He's inevitably going to get caught on occasion. McLean on the other hand is largely just along for the ride here.

15.11.2024 20:40 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

Can't string any more than a couple of basic passes together and expecting Gilmour to work miracles from really deep.
