All done with FFX and FFX-2!! I thought I would be playing Hades 2 next, but turns out I’m still in the mood for more final fantasy, so I’ve moved onto FFIX instead. Really vibing with it so far

Beating that boss in 2 tries is really impressive. It’s super fun, one of my favorites from the whole game, but it is definitely not easy

I finished Silksong and ended up thinking it surpassed Hollow Knight in pretty much every way, and then felt like doing a little victory lap by replaying Hollow Knight for like the 5th time lol. It’s crazy how easy it feels now in comparison

Reminds me of “DaSausage” (Dausegne) from Sepulcher

As in not liking the book or just reacting to the events in it? I love both but the musical is definitely more approachable

Silksong is turning out to be one of those very rare games where I can play it for like 8 hours straight without noticing the time passing. I'm so glad this is actually living up to my expectations

Yeah that’s fair, it does feel like two fantasies jammed together rather than a cohesive whole. I like them both though so I guess I never thought about it. Love all the spell effects too. Easily my favorite of the evoker specs.

What’s the reasoning for preservation in C tier?

As a small tangent — I don’t like when people use “millionaire” interchangeably with “billionaire” as a slur. Like do you not understand the magnitude of difference there? Becoming a millionaire is actually pretty attainable for regular people now and doesn’t automatically make them evil

Okay I actually love the one button assistant they added to WoW. Tried it out in a few dungeons today and it seemed to work pretty well. Will be nice to get some more of my alts from 70 to 80 instead of letting them gather dust because the barrier of setting up action bars/weakauras/etc is too scary

I loved both games but agree that rebirth’s more open world was super nice. I was personally a map clearer though, some of the side content was really fun

I still think FFXVI gives one of the best cinematic experiences out of any game I’ve played though, and that is its main strength. I loved it enough that I’m going back to it now even though I have a lot more games in my backlog

After playing the FFVII remakes and then going back to replay FFXVI, I have to admit I think the combat is…rough. I just don’t think it gets better than VIIR in terms of ARPG combat. At least FFXVI is nice enough to give you items that basically auto battle for you if you’re not feeling it lol

This is my favorite as well even though it’s the only expansion I didn’t play when it was current. I really missed out

Had to jump on the bandwagon and play Clair Obscur before continuing with my backlog. I think everyone’s already said everything that needs to be said about this game, but I’ll definitely add in my voice to say this was one of the best RPGs I’ve played.
