Well there I was pottering about local fields & wood when news came out of tern 1st royal then elegant but now narrowed down to Royal/West African Crested I believe, nice unexpected tern of avents anyhow. Thanks to Derek Carter for use of better pics. #UKBirding. #Devonbirds.

Cheers mate there were 2 male cirls in it at one stage was to busy watching them all and forgot pic or video time I did they had clocked me 🙄😂.

At one stage I had 7 species in this one small puddle & 20 birds !. Time I got scope set up cirl bunting & dunnock just sat up in hedge. Linnet,robin, chaffinch, goldfinch & greenfinch did come down. Much bigger puddles were around. At stantaway farm nr Otterton #UKBirding. #Devonbirds.
