I have an idea for a new party
The party is open to Republicans less than enamored of Trump and Democrats willing to look away from their sadly wasted last decade.
It will be called the Alt National Party.
For patriots who believe in a return to government based on competence rather than ideology.

Anyone know how to start a new political party? I must admit I feel the Republicans have relinquished their right to be called democratic, and the Democrats-- with a very few notable exceptions-- are running scared and yet continue to engage in protracted navel-gazing.

The dollar is seriously falling against other currencies (in addition to US bonds being sold off around the world).
How will he react to this? A. Print more money B. Declare the US to be Bitcoin-based C. Declare national bankruptcy

Will he change his tune once he realizes that Denmark is the nearly exclusive producer of Ozempic?

As most of you know, I am a curious person.
Some things I am curious about:
Trmp wants to ban CBS, CNN because they continue to maintain that the 2020 election was not stolen. Why does he not use his apparently unlimited power to find evidence that it WAS stolen?

His recent loopholes in the tariffs for smart phones etc is obviously a ploy to prevent his affluent backers from feeling the pain immediately.

A reporter recently visited Trump's gift shop in the Trump Tower and worked out that only about 30% of the merch on sale was made in the US (and of that, I suspect a big percentage had foreign origins). The salespeople had tried hard to hide "Made in China" labeling but not very successfully.

Somehow all the promises Trump made are not being fulfilled. Where is the lower inflation on eggs, the investment in infrastructure, bringing manufacturing back to the US?

Is it true that the "Gulf of America" exists because Biden forbade oil drilling in the Gulf of Mexico?

I am always jumping between Windows and Mac and IOS. Why Apple's iCloud will not allow uploading folders from the browser interface is a mystery to me.
Folders have been around since the dawn of time and should not be arcane to Apple developers.

Despite my best efforts, I have yet to change anyone's political or religious opinion, so maybe it is time to not worry about it.
I may nevertheless continue occasionally to express my opinion and maybe throw in a few facts that are cherry-picked to back it up.

What is not to like about a platform that has no ads and lets you design your own algorithm?

Living as I do in Germany, I often ask myself, what could I have done as an ordinary citizen in 1933 to defend, protect, or hide those fleeing persecution. I wonder if ordinary American citizens are thinking about this now as the greatest mass prosecution in American history is looming?
