On this Thanksgiving, I’m holding two truths at once: deep gratitude for family, community, and the chance to keep fighting for a better Idaho — and real awareness that this season is heavy for many facing loss, loneliness, or financial stress.

Twice this month I got to exercise my right to vote. Early voting for the Mayor and one City Council Seat started today in Idaho Falls. Get out and vote!! #IVoted

Today, we extend our deepest gratitude to all those who have defended our country. These individuals have made sacrifices for our freedoms. We must ensure that we honor our commitments to them, not just today, but every day.

Especially after they were handed such decisive election victories on Tuesday. Do not abandon the American people when we just stood with you across the country eager to give you a chance to show us you cared.

I can’t believe that Senate Democrats are caving on healthcare. All of the pain of the shutdown was for nothing if they give up now.

Across the country the message was clear. Americans don't like the direction we are headed. Some of the elections tonight were historic, and all of them mattered. Way to go America! #democrats
