I'm failing to find the perfect JF style punny answer. They are appropriate when your concurrency implementation is easily cooperative. Unfortunately, in c++ they are infectious so that everything in the stack using a coroutine needs to be/handle coroutines. I'm not a fan of intrusive solutions.

Unpopular opinion: When coroutines were added to C++, every library example and conference talk slide used them for illustration. Now we have to wade through the coroutine cruft to understand the actual concepts. Authors seem to think this is a flex. Stop using coroutines when not needed.

The other thing that happens are people who seem to know me but I don't think I've met them. After a bit of conversation, I realize they have seen me at a conference or in a YouTube video. It throws me every time.
