I smile and kiss her nose before offering another bite

"Always, baby." I softly say before picking up the waffles Aunty made us and offering her a bite.

I smile and slowly stand up before walking to the dresser and getting her antibiotics, then I walk back over and hand her the pills and her juice. I gesture to the breakfast tray. "The tea is ginger. Aunty and my Mama swear on it when they're nauseous at all and the antibiotics can be rough."

I nod. "I know. Neither do I. The only one I'll make you take is the antibiotic, okay? Everything else is your choice."

I nod and gently rub her knee. "The doctor and Uncle Eitan said that was to be expected. I can get your medicine for you."

I smile and set the tray down. "Yeah, Aunty Matty brought it over. Which is good, because despite everyone's best efforts, I can't cook savoury food to save my life. I can bake though." I carefully kneel in front of the chair. "How are you feeling, baby?"

I nod and squeeze his arm. "Thanks Dad. I just don't want her to panic again."

I slowly move to the kitchen and pick up the tray with Addie's breakfast on it before slowly making my way to the bedroom. "Baby, it's just Abel. I'm coming in." I say before opening the door.

I shake my head and slowly stand up. "I can take breakfast to her...I think. She should probably stay in bed as much as possible for now."

I leave the room and go to the guest room, sitting on the edge of the bed.

I kiss Pixie's head. "We'll figure this out."
