Fantastic movie. Somehow I managed to watch it a few years ago without having any knowledge of the memes beforehand (except for the skincare routine bit).

What a movie to watch for the first time. A fun one, but the franchise really takes off once they hand over the reins full time to Stahelski in the next entry.

Caught Joker 2 on Max. Truly a confounding movie, one that was not made to appeal to any audience except for maybe some of the people involved in making it. Maybe.

No worries. Apple and Spotify are bad about allowing these kinds of uploads being on artist’s pages. Nobuo Uematsu’s page used to have a lot of stuff like this.

This is a nice re-arrangement, although I suspect that it’s a fan’s work which makes it more impressive.

I hadn’t actively thought of Koike’s other Lupin work as “non-feature film length” even if technically that’s what they were. I was just happy for him to keep getting opportunities in the director’s chair.

Excited to see another Koike work come to fruition.

Far from an unnecessary add-on, this is the definitive version of a true masterpiece anime, not a moment wasted with everything added servicing the themes

Even the 18-34 demo went way more red than in 2020, so don’t kid yourself that young people did their part

I checked out DRCL Midnight Children. Nice art but almost everything else was mediocre, including the paneling/pacing. A shame as I’m a huge fan of the original novel.
