I feel like I was visually triaged when I walked in and the physical triage happened in that first room.

That's where I saw the first doctor. Quickly they decided I wasn't enough of an "emergency" so they warehoused me down in the basement with other "urgent but not emergency" folks. There were rows of curtained off beds and I was placed in one. Then I was ignored for several hours!

Tried to walk in, but the nurse who had called my name just grabbed an empty wheelchair they had by the entrance and had me sit in it. Took me through a door to a small room right past the door. Had my vitals taken, was asked questions, etc. Then was wheeled to a larger room in the more "central" ER

Went to the ER recently! I hobbled in with my face scraped up and bloody. Signed in and stated verbally to the MA at the front desk why I was there. Limped to a seat in the half full waiting room. Waited about 5 minutes and they called me in.

Ugh, the washing machine errored out at some point during the wash and my clothes are soaking wet. I'm not paying another $3 to wash them again. They're going in the dryer as is.

What a schlub.
