A WIP

I've been trying to use the wargames atlantic WW1 Russian infantry for my WW2 soviets mix with some warlord heads. I know it's not a 1:1 exact uniform but for my inexperienced conscripts and NKVD rifle division seems to work. They look fine side by side and unnoticeable when in a blob.

Been dealing with that looking for historical references of armor or clothing for hail Caesar. And half of it is always AI nonsense or the power fantasy of what he thinks Rome is. So infuriating.

The warlord or atlantic french infantry are great if you look for more of a trenchy greatcoat look. I would share a picture but mine are headless for the moment...

One of my greatest discoveries, a friend of mine who I think worked with translations of turnip28 came and showed it to me and I was thrilled. You can just let your imagination flow and so crazy stuff or just grab some old minis, paint them dirty and there you go.

Worth every second spent.
