Trying to take more artistic liberties and not be so literal with references. Sometimes it's okay to omit things!

I'm at the point with my cherry painting where I'm afraid to work on it because I think I'll make it worse but I know the colors need to be more saturated 🫣

Severance confession: I laughed when the show brought up the inny/outie concept

Partner and I have been calling any Audi we see on the road and inny-audi for years and the show reminds me of it every time

I was so happy watching watercolor on the TV tonight 🥺 This is from Oliver Pyle on YouTube. I preordered his book at the end of last year and it's finally made it to our post office, I can't wait to pick it up tomorrow.

I'm so pleased with how the sky came out in this one. I completed this all in one sitting this morning, jumping around from bit to bit, really trying to focus on washes. It feels good to practice and not feeling pressured to be absolutely perfect.

Taking care of my three-year-old nephew tonight and he kept asking for car ducks and I didn't know what he meant, but ten minutes later while having a snack I figured out he meant corn dogs 😅
