Our students recently had the opportunity to try Taiko drumming. Learning rhythm, team work and overall having a great time with fantastic energy in their performances. A great day and a great assembly by all showing the various beats learnt.

Today for our weekly assembly, one of our students explained how boxing has given him
discipline and a focus, outside of school. The images are of his first boxing match and what a win it was. Well done!

Following on from a recent post, Shoreline has Won a special award from the Arts Society at the Burton Art Gallery schools exhibition. 🏆🏆

Fantastic news and well done to all, who have their art work being displayed.
This week our students had the opportunity to use a 3D design, printing and modelling machine. A great workshop for all with fantastic final products.

In a range of subjects including nail art, playing the drums, photography and driving a tractor. Building up a portfolio of certificates to evidence their skills, knowledge and experience.

A great way to start the Christmas festivities……students making reindeers and Christmas decorations on their LOTC day. A day where students are out developing life skills and character building.

Our primary students visited Highwood Care home today, where they performed dances, sang Christmas carols and played bowls. A fantastic day.

On Friday our students went to Highwood Care home to do intergenerational sessions with the residents and what a fantastic day it was. Students prepared muffins, played cards and indoor bowls, explored the facilities, made residents cups of tea and had conversations with them. A magical day.

Shoreline had a visit today from BIMA giving an insight into the world of digital careers. Our students also competed in a nationwide challenge, where they created an awareness for their proposed client RSPCA. Fantastic advertisements and a great Dragon Dens pitch from all.
